IT Authorities Leadership
IT Authorities is a place where leadership is paramount regardless of what position you hold in our organization. We are students and promote Dr. John Maxwell’s research and education on “The 360◦ Leader”. We have employees that as a demonstration of leadership have taken it upon themselves to provide after hour training to employees looking to increase their value by increasing their knowledge. Great leaders are in charge of their lives and feel responsible for the lives around them. Leadership is the single most important element of our culture and it is a subject we take serious enough to warrant a permanent space in our University program.
Jason Caras - CoCEOJason Caras is a co-founder of IT Authorities. He is a highly charged motivational teacher within our organization. Mr. Caras demonstrates leadership by living a high performance life and teaching others to do the same is part of his own mission and contribution to IT Authorities. Jason Caras speaks on a monthly basis to various organizations and schools such as the Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa Bay Tech High School, Shields Middle School, Lewis & Clark, and Computer Mentors Group. He speaks on the subject of human potential and transformation for living a high performance and balanced life. He also speaks to the employees of many of our clients.
Mr. Caras' career began in the insurance industry where he was the Executive V.P. of Caras Insurance Agency, the CEO of Vesica Insurance Associates both headquartered in Massachusetts, and the Managing Partner of Worldwide Reinsurance Services, LLC., headquartered in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Mr. Caras has also served in a management capacity and as a board member of a regional seafood company, an international medical equipment distribution company as well as operating The Life Enhancement Center conducting free seminars for at risk juveniles in detention centers. Mr. Caras served as the Executive V.P. of F-one, Inc. and CEO of Infinity Communications, Inc.
Jason Pollner - CoCEO
Jason Pollner is a co-founder of IT Authorities. Jason started his career as an entrepeneur (CEO) in the technical field by developing automation tools and providing custom built servers and desktops (Afluente, Inc.). He sold this company and continued his career as a Senior Engineer for Publix Supermarkets where he provided technical consulting for the Retail Technology team. As a member of this team, Jason performed many roles including project sponsor, project manager and team lead. He presented costs analysis data to the board of directors to approve over $10 million in projects that were all completed on time and within budget under his lead. After designing and completing many successful efforts, Jason went out in search of a technology company to buy. It was during this time that he started working with Jason Caras who eventually became his business partner and co-founder of IT Authorities.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys writing and playing music. He has owned and operated several recording studios as an educational hobby to benefit his own musicianship.
