Continuous Data Protection (CDP) option

The CDP (Continuous Data Protection) option uses the StoreGrid software application installed on each server that is to be backed up.  The data that is to be backed up must be selected. Once complete, the data is backed up on an adjustable scheduled basis to the Amazon Backup Cloud (Amazon’s online storage facilities).

 

Image (Clone) Option

The Image option uses Acronis cloning software to create complete clones of servers on shared USB or network drives.

 

Cold Start Option

The Cold Start option uses the same solution as the Image option but also includes the uploading of the clone images to our hosting facility.  This allows us to actually create a full working server with the exact data and applications installed on it at any time.  This would be used in declared disaster scenarios only.
