Throughout the year, the team at IT Authorities volunteers at different non-profits around the Tampa Bay area. This time, the team volunteered at the Hillsborough Education Foundation.
The Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF) is dedicated to strengthening “public education so all students in Hillsborough County Public Schools will graduate and be prepared with the skills necessary for postsecondary, career and life success.”

The IT Authorities team was given a tour of the facilities that include a store where teachers can come in and select their supplies. In addition, the team learned about HEF’s mentoring program and other initiatives including IT equipment recycling. The HEF organization has an impressive inventory system and the IT Authorities team sorted, cataloged and inventoried donated supplies.
